Oliver Wyman Salary: Base Pay by Level (2026)

Oliver Wyman pays an Associate a $155,000 base salary, an Engagement Manager $232,000 and a Partner $327,000 in US H-1B filings, level by level.

Oliver Wyman pays an Associate a median base salary of $155,000, an Engagement Manager $232,000, a Principal $255,000 and a Partner $327,000 in US H-1B filings from January 2025 to June 2026. Oliver Wyman files few H-1B consulting roles, 25 in that time, so each of those levels rests on 3 to 7 filings, and Analyst, Senior Analyst, Senior Associate and Senior Consultant roles have too few to show a median. Read the numbers as a guide. Oliver Wyman Actuarial Consulting files its own ladder, from $98,405 for an Analyst to $190,794 for a Senior Manager.

Where the numbers come from. Base salaries are from 25 consulting and 16 actuarial filings by Oliver Wyman's US companies, worked out in code. H-1B filings show base salary only: no bonus, signing bonus, profit sharing or benefits.

How we got these numbers

US employers that hire someone on an H-1B visa must first file a Labor Condition Application with the US Department of Labor, stating the job title, work site and the wage they will pay. The DOL publishes every filing in its LCA disclosure data. We read the filings through h1bdata.info, a free search of that data, because the DOL's own quarterly files run to hundreds of MB. We read them on October 25, 2026.

  • Filing window: filings submitted from January 2025 to June 2026, the latest the DOL has published.
  • Filings counted: 34 across the rows shown, one per DOL case number.
  • Job titles matched:
    • Associate: "Associate" (3)
    • Engagement Manager: "Engagement Manager" (3)
    • Principal: "Principal" (5)
    • Partner: "Partner" (7)
    • Actuarial Analyst: "Analyst (Oliver Wyman Actuarial Consulting)" (3)
    • Actuarial Consultant: "Consultant (Oliver Wyman Actuarial Consulting)" (3)
    • Actuarial Senior Consultant: "Senior Consultant (Oliver Wyman Actuarial Consulting)" (3)
    • Actuarial Manager: "Manager (Oliver Wyman Actuarial Consulting)" (3)
    • Actuarial Senior Manager: "Senior Manager (Oliver Wyman Actuarial Consulting)" (4)
  • Median: the middle filed salary for that title. Range: the 10th to 90th percentile, so a few unusual filings don't stretch it.
  • Base salary only. An H-1B filing states the base wage. Bonuses, signing bonuses, profit sharing and benefits are not in it.
  • Who is in it. Only roles filed for visa holders, at every US office. A filing is the wage the employer committed to pay, not proof of a hire.
  • Left out for too few filings (under 3): Analyst, Senior Analyst, Senior Associate, Senior Consultant.
  • Oliver Wyman files under Oliver Wyman LLC (the consulting table) and Oliver Wyman Actuarial Consulting Inc, sometimes spelled without the space. Data, design and engineering titles are left out because they are not consulting levels.
